The making of every single sculpture is a unique process of adapting and fine-tuning of ideas and feelings.......... just like life.

The base for sculpting was laid some 40 years ago. The ultimate challenge to make fine arts a daily assignment is of more recent date, since 2009.

Sculptor residing in Heeswijk-Dinther, the Netherlands, autodidact.

The path of life along drinking water and irrigation projects, bridges, schools and hospitals in mainly Africa and Eastern Europe has left its traces. Indelible values like opening yourself, true seeing of your environment, the capacity to identify yourself in your role, patience and creative power served first appropriate applications in technique and even more important to assure social cohesion between concerned parties and implementing teams.

The alliance with people of past and present, in Africa and Europe and in particular woman are to him an endless source of inspiration. Once in a while there is an evasion to animals.

Underlying themes are vulnerability, love, movement but also global issues and threats, sustainability, scarcity of food and drinking water.

Michaelangelo, Henry Moore and Rodin inspired from his youth onwards.
